Martin Luther King said that he yearned for the day when people would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
Yet here we are, in year 2021, talking about a fake philosophy and false religion that is called Critical Race Theory and seems poised to stigmatize white students as racists for no better reason than they are white.
This ideology has no other purpose but these two: 1) to turn "One Nation, Indivisible" into a bunch of quarreling factions with no unity, and 2) to cede to the State even more power over us.
We cannot right past wrongs; that's impossible. The men and women who were enslaved, the whip marks on their backs, the numerous indignities, the tragic separations of slave families... we can't fix any of that. We cannot uncommit centuries-old injustices.
But we can go forward from here. We can give every child a quality education and make sure henceforth that nobody's child is vilified because of his or her skin color.
Critical Race Theory is unconstitutional. All it does is repeat the same evils that treating people as different because of their color has always caused: more bitterness, more strife, more anger.
Your children have to live in this world, too.
Don't ruin it.
