Virginia Department of Education has identified itself as the parent of the child, overstepping the authority and values of the parent and trying to undermine culture and individualism in a self righteous manner. It violates the stated goal by proposing this garbage. While there are some good values and tools to be taught contained in the garbage stew, it is simply rooted in politics and has nothing to do with teaching. They are proposing social indoctrination by brainwashing our children with relative modality and pushing for the elimination of values, individualism, self determination and culture. They teach children that they are less capable of success because of their "groups" or "culture". It's disgusting to see. Leave the children's culture to their parents. They must not be taught that their faith and personal value system is wrong because of your superiority complex. The schools, the elected officials and the administration should be ashamed of themselves for even considering this.
