No to this proposal!  As a retired teacher in Elementary Education , a grandparent of students in the public education system, it is time we STOPPED  the VEB telling parents what they will be teaching their children!   Parents are still in charge of educating their children & have control of what is being  taught in public schools. 
They need to be placing emphasis on the basics :   Reading, Writing and Math. According to the low grades in Math, this should be addressed instead of convincing the students they are somewhat inferior to others!  Stop this nonsense and get back to teaching academics instead of politics!
