I have the following comments or suggestions regarding the proposed amendment for the Home Inspector Regulations:

Where the regulations state the applicant shall pass an examination approved by the board, why not go ahead and list the exams that are approved (NHIE, etc) there by eliminating any confusion or vagueness.

I understand allowing a renewal grace period and the additional fee for late renewal, but allowing a current certificate holder to renew up to two years after the expiration is way too lenient. I believe six months is more than adequate.
