I support the views of my Senator, Mark Obenshain, as expressed above to The Honorable Robert S. Brink, Chairman, State Board of Elections.

Every effort should be made to insure that ballot and election security is preserved in every way. The proposed amendment would erode that security. The public deserves the most reliable and trustworthy preservation of integrity at every step of the election process. The proposed amendment would invite abuse and erode the public trust which is so necessary to preserve and promote public comity.
