HOW exactly would the proposed change strengthen election integrity and voter confidence?  (Hint: It wouldn't.) JUST THE OPPOSITE would be the result. Voters should bear responsibility for getting their envelopes postmarked properly. (Hint: They can.) The SBE should withdraw its proposed change and should APOLOGIZE to Virginia voters for even attempting to exceed its authority to change election law, in a way that erodes further the public's trust in government.
