DO NOT Eliminate the Postmark for Virginia Ballots !

Eliminating the postmark is not necessary any longer on account of Covid-19 since thankfully Virginia"s percentage numbers have come down allowing voters to go to the polls safely with accepted protocols.   There is also the convenience of requesting an absentee ballot and mailing it back with the required postmark - on or before the normally used voter timetable deadline.  There is also an additional ability to personally take your ballot to an officially designated area drop-off box.  In my opinion this eliminates the possibility or even the appearance of voter fraud and allows all ballots to be counted in a timely manner.  My Mama always told me "If it's not broke, don't fix it!"    Susanne Crain
