Changing Regulations to Cheat an Election

I am appalled and embarrassed at the actions and undertakings that our state "leaders" will go to win an election. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the current voting regulations and my question is, why now? Why this election? Is it because one (1) political party is afraid they are going to lose? You work for the citizens, not the other way around. There are other political parties and one party should not have say over the others. I realize elections have consequences and we have to progress as a nation, however cheating and lying cannot be in that equation. Election integrity has to be maintained if we are to stay a lawful & free America, a Constitutional Republic. This is not a 3rd world country or a country ruled by a dictatorship.  What happened to fair and free elections? These tactics are not free, certainly not fair and in the process our "leaders" that are so willing to compromise their integrity represent the entire citizenry of Virginia. That's a very unsettling and disconcerting fact. We elected, and in some instances accepted all of you to represent us. That was not permission to undercut regulations, rules, and/or laws to throw an election. Everyone who votes is considered an adult in the eyes of the law.  Why then are our "leaders" resorting to childish & immature tactics? With that being said, the example Virginia's "leaders" are setting for the world to see is in complete contrast to the decades I spent teaching my children of the importance of honesty, integrity, character and morals. In a way, our "leaders" in Virginia are going backwards.
