Ballot Postmarks

The absence of an intelligable postmark prevents the determination that the vote was timely submitted.  Any ballots received without a legible postmark should be rejected for, among other reasons, ensuring the integrity of the election process.  Last minute laws/regulations, or changes to those existing, must not be allowed.  There has been ample time, well before the election season, to establish the procedures necessary to ensure a valid election.

The voters expect a public hearing on such an important modification to our laws.
