Absentee Ballots, change in regulation regarding

One has to wonder why this proposed change?  Absentee ballots are available well in advance of Election Day, November 03.  There is NO EXCUSE for anyone failing to exercise their right to cast a ballot well before Election Day or on November 03.  Already, one can vote over a month prior to Election Day in person or request, complete, and return an absentee ballot.  Why must we continue to extend the deadline and then to make it worse, eliminate the means of verification of compliance with current regulations.  This proposed change will open the door for those who wish to subvert the right of all ELIGIBLE VOTERS to have their voice heard in a reasonable voting method.  We do not need to facilitate voting by INELIGIBLE VOTERS or their proxies.
