I am a licensed Landscape Architect in Virginia/North Carolina.   I support maintaining licensure for professional Landscape Architects as it is vital to the welfare of the citizens.

I have practiced for 32 years.   Preparing grading plans, erosion control plans, stormwater management, water quality plans, subdivision plans etc.   I have established a successful career an practice based upon the foundation of my education, and experience.  I was also educated in at an accredited University.

To devalue the profession is simply wrong.  Of course there are Landscape Architects that perform different tasks.  The same with engineers, doctors etc.  The title does not give you the privelege to do as you wish, but what you are proficient and experienced.
