The mandatory use of masks for this time period will cause many irreparable harm and functional inconvenience. Two detriments of masks exist: First, masks allow the re-breathing of carbon dioxide causing asphyxiation. The second, masks prevent those who are deaf from communicating clearly because they cannot see facial expressions. With these points, I request a suspension of the face covering (mask) requirements.
