No masks!

If people want to wear them, fine.  They should be allowed to do so.  They should not be mandated.  Period.  It is not the government’s job to protect my health, it is my responsibility.  Masks, which are labeled as not being effective against the virus, are a hindrance to people.  It’s hard for us to understand each other when we hear well.  Hearing impaired people who depend on reading lips end up isolated from not being able to communicate with people around them. Let’s not forget that it’s not healthy to breathe in your own carbon dioxide without plentiful oxygen.  Masks often cause people to incessantly touch their face in an effort to readjust masks that don’t fit well.  That incessant touching of your face defeats the whole purpose of wearing a mask anyway. But mostly it comes down to it is not the job of the government to order me to “protect” my health in a way that I think is contrary to my best health.  No more mask mandates!!
