After two caregivers at a special needs home in Tyler were arrested for abusing a nonverbal teen with autism, the company that oversees the facility has issued a statement condemning the actions of its former employees. The father had placed cameras in the his son's room at the home.  Numerous beating were recorded because the workers were charged.  Parents use consumer directed care to keep their loved ones out of abusive group homes.  Please don't take this service away.  EVV basically takes away consumer directed services because it makes them unusable
