I would like to align my comment to that of M L Serafine, Ph.D, J.D. The banning of conversion therappy is unscientific and unconstitutional. The efforts of those who would ban this practice is meant to overturn the rights of parents to raise their children. Appeal to worst and isolated cases do not lead to good practice or good legislation. The denial of religious belief and practice as reasonable and applicable in this discussion is heavy-handed. Please do not ban the reasonable and very humane practice of conversion therapy. I thank Dr. Serafine for her well informed contribution to this discussion in the Commonwealth of Virginia. -Jim Disney
