A person seeking therapy has obviously acknowledged he/she needs help. Legislations specifically banning a certain point of view to be presented to the patient not only potentially harm the patient because comprehensive options have been suppressed, it may also be unconstitutional to suppress freedom of speech rights of the therapist. The patient has the right to make an INFORMED decision on what to belief, which is only possible if the therapist has the freedom the give the patient any information deemed necessary in the treatment.
