I'm currently a student technician, and I really hope this does not get passed. I'm working so hard in school to become licensed. So basically my hard work doesn't matter. Placing a catcher is a duty for a licensed technician, not just anyone. It's crazy to think that they would allow someone that has no education on placing a catheter to do so anyway. You have to learn how to monitor anesthesia, read fecals, placing catheters is something that should be taught not just handed over to someone that doesn't know what they're doing.
