Licensed Veterinary Technicians take our time, our money and a lot of hard earned schooling to attain our degrees and maintain them yearly. I do not support allowing assistance to place IV catheters. There is skill and knowledge of anatomy required to properly place an IV catheter without causing harm to a patient.
