I support the proposal

My opinion stems from 2 issues:

1. I have worked in other states without such strict regulations on the tasks LVTs and non-LVTs can perform. I have worked with plenty of amazing unlicensed technicians who could run circles around licensed vet techs. Placing an IVC is a skill, and when taught appropriately, to a compentent individual, can be done correctly by anyone.

2. The majority of people objectiving to this proposal are licensed technicians. I understand their desire to feel respected. I also understand their frustration. But placing IVC is a simple skill, like drawing blood. Allowing nonlicensed technicians to place IVC does not devalue their profession nor negatively affect their income.
