I fully support this petition to decrease Virginia's carbon emissions by 30% by the year 2030. We have a moral imperative to reduce pollution and doing so is becoming increasingly easy. My children shouldn't have their future limited by our unwillingness to make changes today. Furthermore, renewable energy is a fast-growing sector that can create more jobs in Virginia than fossil fuels ever will. This proposal is both the practical and decent choice for the commonwealth.
