Opposition toRegulations Banning Concealed Firearms in Offices Occupied by Executive Branch Agencies

I oppose the proposed regulation.  Recent, horrific shootings have demonstrated that citizens are least safe in "gun-free" zones, in which priviate citizens cannot lawfully arm themselves for their own defense.  While state agency offices may have armed guards, those guards cannot be everywhere at all times.  Armed citizens are the best defense for the safety and security of themselves and those around them.  Additionally, such executive action, taken without vetting or approval by the legislature, sets a dangerous precedent which undermines the liberty of all citizens - and that is not an abstract concept, but a very concrete reality.  The proposed regulation is, simply, a bad idea from every standpoint, and should be rejected.
