I'm particularly concerned about college and university campuses. Thomas Jefferson and James Madison wisely opposed guns on colleges campuses. We should not allow campus carry in Virginia today. Our students, faculty, and staff deserve a working and learning environment free of concealed weapons. In fact, all state workers do. There is no reasonable need for civilians at large to carry guns in state buildings and facilities.
