I STRONGLY OPPOSE this regulation.

HB-1096 passed the Virginia State House 65 to 33 and the Virginia Senate by 21-17. The Governor decided to disregard the will of the people of the state of Virginia with a disdainful veto. There have been NO shootings in Virginia state buildings and CHP holders are the most law-abidding group of people in the state.

The governor has no direct authority from the General Assembly to ban guns in state agency buildings. He is exceeding his constitutional powers by disregarding the General Assembly and the people of the state of Virginia. The Virginia General Assebly passed a bill clarifying this and, again, the "governor" vetoed it. It is time for Terry McCaullife to accept the will of the citizens of Virginia.
