Strongly Opposed to This Regulation

This regulation would force me to leave my firearm in my car, where it is much more likely to be stolen. It also forces me to unnecessarily handle my firearm more often as I am disarming, then rearming upon entering and exiting the building. It also leaves me unarmed during the walk to and from the building. And because it applies to all executive branch buildings, it not only leaves me unarmed in places with metal detectors and armed guards, but also in places that have no such protections, such as an ABC store.

In addition, the state has already determined that I am qualified and safe enough to carry a weapon concealed on my person in public. Why should I suddenly become less safe or more prone to violence while in a particular building?
