This Action CANNOT Stand!!!

This is simply a political move to act like something is being accomplished. Blocking CHP holders from carrying will not make buildings safer. ISIS was a threat in 2014 when they broke off from AQ. They were a threat in 2015 when they inspired an attack in Tennessee. They're still currently a threat to Virginia as there have been numerous arrests of ISIS linked personnel in Woodbridge, Sterling, Burke, and others. The FBI is currently investigating a possible ISIS inspired attack in Roanoke and this administration wants to take away the rights of LAW BIDING citizens to protect themselves. When you prevent people from entering one of these "special places" with a weapon you force them to choose between either leaving their gun at home and remain defenseless or become the criminal they are trying to protect themselves from. Virginia was central to breaking away from a tyrannical government that favored those in power over the common citizen. Now we have an administration that wants to sit behind armed guards while the citizens of this Commonwealth have to fend for themselves. There is no demonstrated data to prove that gun-free zones make the public safer, they only make criminals safer.
