I oppose this regulation in the strongest terms!

This "emergency" regulation was pushed thruogh under false pretenses.  There was not then, nor has there ever been, an "emergency" precipitated or posed by lawfully carried firearms in state agency buildings!   Making such a regulation permanent makes state agency venues significantly less safe by prominently advertising that they are "gun-free zones".   History proves that mass muderers and terrorists seek out "gun-free zones" for their attacks because there is less chance for effective resistance.  That Gov. McAuliffe surrounds himself with armed body guards then seeks to deprive all who work in or enter "his" state agency venues of their civil right to armed self defense proves that he cares not one whit about your personal safety, only his own!
