I OPPOSE this counterproductive law introduced with a LIE!

This attempt at gun control is, like most, harmful and unnecessary.

This regulation was introduced as an emergency measure.  There was never, and still isn't, any "emergency", or even any problem of any scale, regarding guns in state agency offices.  The only impetus is that the McAuliffe administration hates guns.  He wants this as political payback to his major donors, mainly Michael Bloomberg, who believes his bodyguards should be allowed to carry concealed fully-automatic machine pistols where, in perfect accordance with his wishes, we ordinary people can't even carry a simple revolver whether openly or concealed!

As with almost all gun control, this regulation would not make anybody safe, except criminals.  It would have the exact same effect as any "gun free zone" rule -- the people inside would be MORE vulnerable, not less, as any random nutburger intent on wreaking havoc would face little to no effective (read: armed) opposition.  There may be a guard manning a metal detector or some such, but as we saw at the Holocaust Museum (another monument to civilian disarmament!), that just tells the attacker who to shoot first.

Vote this nonsense down WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE!
