I'd like to add my voice to those who are requesting a new comment period on the proposed regulations regarding student veterinary practice and owner consent. Many concerned owners of companion animals object to the prospect of students practicing medicine on their animals without close supervision, and often without owner knowledge or consent. I am one of them. Our voices deserve to be heard and heeded.
