Please include something about....knowledge and demonstration of trauma-informed practices to meet the needs of individual children effected by neighborhood violence, homelessness, abuse, and neglect.  Unfortunately, more children are having behavioral challenges due to post-traumatic stress and teachers need to be aware of effective strategies in order to manage the classroom, avoid expulsions, and reach out to the students who need their support.
