Do not change from Foundations of Education to The Teaching Profession

As the track coordinator for the Adult Learning Masters Program at VCU, I strongly suggest that you do not change "Foundations of Education" to "The Teaching Profession".  Most of our students are not employed in the PK-12 environment.  They are professionals working within organizations in both the public and private sector, teaching Adult Learners in a variety of settings. Our students are interested in understanding the social foundations and goals of education to aid them in a broader understanding of working with adults in a learning environment.  I fear the change to "The Teaching Profession" would force courses to be more focused on PK-12, and not provide the foundations for those wishing to provide learning experiences to our state's growing adult population.  KEEP FOUNDATIONS OF EDUCATION!
