I ask that the Board include  all skills and procedures necessary fo the treatment of Type I  Periodontal Disease in the regulations for the Dental Assistant II position.

In the current healthcare enviorment there is an ever increasing need for dental care.  Therefore, my reasoning for this request is to enable Dentists in Virginia to safely provide dental care to an expanded number of citizens of the Commonwealth.
