Dear Dental Board,
I would like you to vote no on Dental Assitants II scal;ing teeth. We will be lowering the sandard of care for all Virginians if this is passed. "Cleaning" a person's teeth wether a child or perio patiant involves much more then just scraping teeth. For the assistants to be able to preform a prophy on a patient they will need to attend school for 2 to 4 years, take national and state boards, and take continuing education classes to keep thier liciense current. Of course then you would have a qualified RDH! Please continue to give Virginia patients the high quality of care they deserve. VOTE NO ON ASSITANTS SCALING!
