All this talk about lack of Dental Hygienists in the field. I am sorry but I have been a hygienist a long time and I look in the paper everyday for a dental hygiene job. There is rearly advertisments and they are all part-time. ODU graduates almost 40 hygienists a year and MCV graduates over 20. Maybe the dentists should look at themselves a little before they claim there is a dental hygiene shortage. Just maybe the hygienist doesn't want to work for them!
