I am very proud of my career as a dental hygienist. This is my 30th year in practice and I have worked very hard to be a great hygienist and earn the respect of my patients. My primary focus has always been the best welfare for the patient.. When it comes to the patient's safety and oral health I absolutely do not feel that a dental assistant should be allowed to perform any scaling duties.
