I honestly cannot believe that this issue is even being considered.....  NO office in VIRGINIA in their right mind should allow dental ASSISTANTS (key word: ASSISTANT) to scale my teeth. I would NEVER allow that. Dental Hygienists are PROFESSIONALLY trained and educated beings that SHOULD be the only ones allowed to pick up a scaler.

This is absolutely ridiculous... and even if this is passed.... I will NEVER allow a dental ASSISTANT to clean my teeth.
