I’m a senior dental hygiene student and I have worked extremely hard to ensure that I’m properly trained and able to provide the best service for my patients. It saddens me to think that we would even consider decreasing patient health care in order to save a dollar. Oral health is very important to the overall health of the body and it is important that properly trained individuals are caring for the whole periodontium of the patient not just 3mm and above.
