Because of the current research and outcome of information on Oral Systemic Link, EVERY RDH will need to utilize ALL of their medical training to discover with all of their patients potential life threatening health threats manifested in the body via the mouth. In order to do this, the Hygiene practitioner will need ADVANCED University and professional school training! The dumbing down of Hygiene would be the same of dumbing down of Dentistry allowing RDHs to drill class 1 cavities without ever having to walk into a dental school program! I want to ask "What is the difference?"
