I was a dental assistant for 20 years before I went back to school for hygiene. I have tons of respect for both professions. I  do believe that  your  patients needs to feel this same respect by giving them the best care that can be provided in their peridontial health. I don't feel your thinking of the patient again only the bottom, how much $$ can I save in my dental office. I feel so tired knowing that patients really don't understand the quality of their care, do ask those in favor of this DDS who would they want to leave in care of their 5 mm pocket to? It's a double standard and who is the looser in this game? The Patient and all for the sake of money. Thanks for listenig, I hope you do the right thing and don't pass this legislation.
