Board of Dentistry

As a practicing RDH for the last 20 years, I strongly oppose ANY and ALL scaling duties for the newly created Dental Assistant II .  If we truly have the patient's best interest at heart and want to continue to deliver a high standard of care, than vote NO!! There is no comparison to the level of  comprehensive training an RDH program provides than to that of the DA II program.
