All hygienist have spent from 2 to 4 years in training to be able to diagnose and treat patients.  It is a disservice to patients to think their care is going to be done be those trained in the office in a very limited time span to maintain their periodontal health.  It looks like some would like to cut their overhead at the expense of their patients dental health.  Please vote no to preserve the tegrity of care that is given to our patients.
