I find it EXTREMELY interesting that the majority of those who agree with this proposal are dentists.  Could it be that they just want to get by without paying an RDH to do the work....................a dental assistant wouldn't get paid nearly as much.   I totally disagree with having a dental assistant scale.  An RDH has to attend college for two years to receive the education and training not to mention taking national boards to become an RDH!!
