I strongly oppose the new position of the DAII.  I oppose all scaling duties of the DAII position- scaling supra and subgingival calculus.  The profession of a RDH is to focus on the patient's safety and oral health, I do not think the patient's safey is being accounted for when it comes to the new position of the DAII.
