I am 100% IN FAVOR of this policy change.  The current limitations on veterinarian students produces less experienced licensed veterinarians at the end of the four year curriculum.  Allowing increased animal exposure under direct supervision earlier will produce more confident and experienced veterinarians upon graduation.
