Definitely Against
 

As an animal lover and animal owner, I totally agree with others who have expressed the opinion that only veterinary students in their fourth year should be allowed to perform medical procedures, and only then with a caring, experienced supervisor.  And it should be mandatory that owners always be made aware that a student will be assisting in the care of their animal.  The animals deserve good, quality care -- they are not there to be experimented upon.
