Against this

I am against this petition based on the argument others have made-- this gives way too much latitude to the individual veterinarian to determine what a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year vet student may do and does not require patient consent before action is taken.  If I take my cat to the vet to have her teeth cleaned I surely expect the doctor I've worked with is administering anesthesia and doing the procedure.  And when I take my 16 year old cat in for blood work I don't want her poked multiple times to teach a student.  As it is her very experienced doctor has a hard time with it.  If 4th year students aren't getting enough experience then maybe the 4th year program should be reworked.

Thank you,

Kelly W
