Currently the law only allows 4th year veterinary student to receive practical, hands-on experience in the work place.  During my experiences throughout my 4th year veterinary curriculum, I have often felt at a disadvantage and very awkard when preforming practical skills that we are EXPECTED to preform as experts upon graduation.  I believe the proposed change would enhance the quality of veterinary education.
