Why Can't I Work?

I'm a 21 year old female dancer. I've been dancing for a year and a half, in four different states before I finally settled in Virginia. I have served in the U.S. Military, have worked in a wide variety of "normal" jobs, and finally began dancing because I'm too young to be considered for the better paying jobs. I have bills and taxes to pay the same as any other U.S. Citizen, and yet I'm being told that while I can serve the military, go overseas to die for my country at the age of eighteen, I'm not allowed to take my top off to pay my bills. I work in an adult-only club, that doesn't allow under 21 in the door. Yet 18 year olds can walk into any XXX-store and buy a movie to see more than I will ever expose. Why can't I remove my top in an adult club if I'm being paid for it? It's a job, the same as any other, that is based on customer appreciation. But there are these rules that say I'm not allowed to take my top off if I'm working in a liquor establishment- why is liquor any different from beer or wine? Only those over 21 are allowed to drink anyway. Why should I have to wear pasties? I served my country to the best of my ability, and now they are putting restrictions on my freedoms. Why do we send our soldiers to other countries to create "equal freedom for all" if we don't enforce equal freedoms in our own country? Why do my freedoms mean less than any one else's? If I worked in a theatre, why am i allowed to take ALL my clothes off for the sake of "art" and ticket sales, but I'm not allowed to take only my top off if I want to pay my rent? This is not the equal freedoms I served to protect. The U.S. soldiers who serve and die for our country do it to protect those freedoms- do they know that those freedoms don't apply to everyone? Are we going to discriminate against only female dancers, or do males have to put tops on too? Didn't we gain the same priviledges as men when the amendment was passed to let us vote? I'm not a hardcore feminist, but I believe if I can die for my country, the same as any other American, I should be allowed to make my money in any legal way I please. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness- why should my right as an American be restricted because someone else is offended based on out-dated regulations? This is the only way I can comfortably live, so why are they telling me, and every other female entertainer,  that we can no longer make our money in a safe, adult only environment by taking our tops off? It's a violation of the same freedoms I would have died to protect- no one should have the right to take them from me.
