Oxford houses/ my experience

I am currently a 47 ur old woman living in a oxford house. I was living a life where I was stuck in active addiction for over 20 years. I've always struggled with self worth and feeling like I wasn't good enough. Drugs gave me a sense of being accepted and like I was finally a le to fit in. It was all fun and games until it wasn't. Over time I became physically dependant and had to have the help of a dr to get off of them.

The best thing, yet the hardest thing I have done is make the decision to stay clean. The main key to my staying clean is living in my Oxford house. Here I am safe and surrounded by other women with the same goal of living clean. I am held accountable and am able to help hold others accountable.  Choosing to live here has made a wonderful impact on my life and I will support Oxford house forever. Thank you for your time
