I’m the father of an Oxford house member. My son had a drug addiction. And has been clean and sober for nearly a year. Because of the structure of his home he’s working full time. Going to meetings truly growing to be the man I know he can be. He’s told me about how the house members share the responsibilities of running the house. I feel it would be a mistake to change their structure to a staff run house. Not that there’s anything wrong with a staff run home. Both have their benefits. But they don’t need to be the same. Different people need different structure. My son is growing as a member of society because of the structure of his home.
