One of my very good friends currently lives in an Oxford House in Richmond VA. It has completely reshaped and rerouted the trajectory of her life. She is extremely broken up and worried about where Oxford House is headed, what that means for her, and what that means for all of the other men and women in recovery who have fought so hard to get to where there are. The concept of being self governing is extremely important for the members of Oxford House. It is not a commercial business and should not require staff when what they have been doing for over 50 years has been proven to work. 

Please keep Oxford Houses operating in Virginia.
